Overview:
Using a custom domain name to access your client portal helps maintain your brand throughout your clients' experience. Instead of using the default Runara subdomain (ex: https://account-name.runara.app) you can let your clients visit a subdomain of your business's website (ex: https://portal.mydomain.com).
If you're familiar with managing DNS settings (who isn't, right?!), using a custom domain name to access your portal is simple.
On the off-chance you don't spend your day-to-day modifying domain records, let's walk through the process.
Please note: DNS changes may take up to 24 hours to take effect.
End Goal:
You will need to add a custom CNAME record to your DNS with the following values:
Host: <subdomain you wish to use>
For example, if you're wanting to use "https://portal.yourdomain.com" you would enter the value "portal".
Points To / Value: portal.runara.app
Enter the value "portal.runara.app" to allow your subomain to point to Runara's servers.
